  10.     More than unique, loon music is primitive, reaching into obscure 
  11. recesses of the human mind. For some people, loon calls might reach 
  12. down a little too deeply. A few years ago, a resort owner in northern 
  13. Wisconsin told me the story of a Chicago couple who spent just one 
  14. night in a lakeside cabin and checked out early the following 
  15. morning. The loons just "got to them," he said. Apparently they felt 
  16. more secure in the jungles of the Loop.
